With wedding blogs and DIY books readily available, more and more couples are opting to plan their own wedding. While this is a great option, one thing is for sure— you cannot be in two places at once and coordinate your own wedding day!

On your wedding day, the main role of the Coordinator is to ensure that your plans are carried out smoothly and to discretely handle any problems that may arise. They are the liaison with the venue, catering manager, decorators, entertainment, photographer and bridal party. They pull the day all together so you can enjoy all the special moments with your family and friends without stressing. Not only do you want to relax on your wedding day, those closest to you should as well.


The following is an outline of some of the tasks we will handle as a part of the "Day Of" Coordination package:

Coordination Typically Begins 1-3 Months Prior to Wedding

  • Two consultations- one of which can be a venue walkthrough

  • Unlimited contact- we love to know how plans are coming along and are happy to offer advice along the way!

  • Detailed day of timeline 

  • Coordinate wedding rehearsal

  • Remind wedding party of where they need to be the following day, and at what time

  • Complete wedding management and day of execution 

  • Vendor Management and Verification — We call or email all vendors to verify time of load-in/setup/teardown/load-out, give directions, forward timeline and layout approximately 1 week before event. We greet wedding vendors and be their point of contact the day of your wedding.

  • Ceremony and Reception Setup — We will insure the correct placement of all décor items based on your detailed layout and assist other vendors in their aspects of the setup.

  • Coordinate All Ceremony Activities — We will line up the wedding party, cue the DJ, pin on the boutonnieres, hand out corsages, make sure the rings are in the right hands, and consult with the officiant. We will coordinate everyone to make sure the ceremony flows smoothly and effortlessly.

  • Coordinate All Reception Activities — We will coordinate all planned activities in conjunction with the DJ and the Photographer for the First Dance, any Family Dances, Toasts, Bouquet Toss, Garter, Cake Cutting, and Grand Exit.

  • Distribute final payments/gratuities to vendors at the end of the night

  • Prevent and fix any problems that may arise during the event

  • Remain easily accessible through the entire event in case there are any details the Bride & Groom would like attended to

  • At end of night ensure gifts and personal décor items reach the designated family members

  • Access to the Wedding Day “Emergency Kit.”
